Rain is falling. Sadness has visited. Yet, even in the gloom of a wet Christmas, the gospel shines forth. Remember those for whom this day brings sad memories of those newly absent, but remember the promise personified in the occupant of the manger. This One gives you life. In the midst of life's resistance, Jesus gives us peace. Rejoice, Immanuel has come to thee, O Israel!
